Yes, now PMStyle can calculate all Vocaloid resonance parameters
simultaneously, which allows to achieve greater freedom in morphing
voice into kind of "with pressure" or "breathing" singing.
In our 5th experiment the same PMStyle was used to recognize the
initial tune (and back vocal tracks) data and to produce:
- Velocity changes
- Auto phrasing, legato and pauses
- Harmonics curve
- Pitch Wheel gliding
- Parameters of "Vibrato Objects"
- Noise curve
- Resonance 03 Band Width and Amplitude curves
- Resonance 04 Band Width and Amplitude curves
No manual editing at all!
To analyze the result yourself you can take the following files in mp3
and *.mid format:
Note:
Main Tune was rendered using default Vocaloid settings, but all back
voices were recorded with the following changes:
Harmonics = 88, Noise = 80, All "Amplitude" parameters of Resonances =
48, All "Band Width" parameters of Resonances = 96; that allows to
force synth to sound with small pressure and some breathing.

Comments by Alexei Ustinov, CTO Jasmine Music Technology
Oh yeah, I like this result much more than all the previous ones :-).
So now only "Attack Objects" and Dynamics aren't controlled by our
PMStyles, but it is not so hard a task.
This week we will place a questionnaire for Vocaloid users to express
their wishes about the Meters, Tempos and song characters they use,
and also about desirable YV Enhancer 1.0 screens and control panes.
Now YV Enhancer is under the development and all this will help us to
make the product more convenient for the user.

Fish are jumping, |
Oh, yeah |
And the cotton is high |
High, is high, is oh so high |
Oh, your daddy's rich, |
Yeah, oh yeah |
And your mama's good looking |
Good looking |
I said, hush, little baby, |
Oh, yeah baby |
Don't you cry |
So, don't cry |
